Prior to forming Carazo Communications, I was
responsible for global
marketing and brand management for two different mid-market B-to-B
manufacturers each with annual sales in excess of US$250 million.
I spent eight years directing the re-positioning, re-branding, and
launch
of the corporate brand identity for both of these business units
following mergers and acquisitions.
Early in my career, I worked as a director of creative services at
leading New York B-to-B ad agencies.
My marketing campaigns won both increased market share and
advertising awards for clients such as Hercules Chemical, Glaxo,
Schering-Plough, Lederle Labs, Siemens, Henry Schein, Sperry, and Upjohn.
Then, as global marketing manager for Sulzer Metco, a $260 million
division of a Swiss industrial group, I directed global branding and
supported technical sales of industrial surface protection coatings by
generating over 8,500 engineering sales leads.

In 2000, I directed the re-branding and launch of Cooper Wiring
Devices, a US$300 million division of Cooper Industries, a US$4.7
billion
Fortune 400 electrical manufacturer. As Marketing Manager for Cooper, I
was responsible for all print and online
marketing, including launching numerous products
for residential, commercial, and industrial
applications.
Today, Carazo Communications provides marketing services to both
manufacturers and distributors in the
electrical industry.
Our involvement includes working as a
columnist for The Electrical Distributor
Magazine, the trade publication of the National
Association of Electrical Distributors.
Each month, I interview executives at industry manufacturers about
marketing trends in major electrical product categories.
Whether involved in corporate marketing
management, or providing ad
agency marketing services, my efforts have consistently delivered
outstanding results for clients in
numerous technical, industrial, and bio-medical
industries.
